About Gathering Point Church

Gathering Point Church began with a simple conviction: Jesus is the hope people are searching for. Our desire is to be a church where God's Word is taught faithfully, people are loved genuinely, disciples are formed intentionally, and Christ remains the center of everything. We're not trying to build a crowd. We're seeking to build disciples who faithfully follow Jesus and help others do the same.

This is more than a slogan. It is the theological and philosophical center of Gathering Point Church. Everything we do should answer one question: Does this point people to Jesus? If it doesn't, we don't do it. Jesus is not part of what we do. He is the center of everything we do.

God's Word is our authority for faith and life.

We refuse to sacrifice either.

Church is not our destination. It is where we are equipped to live on mission.

What We Believe

  • The Bible is God's inspired and authoritative Word.
  • There is one God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man.
  • Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
  • The Holy Spirit transforms believers and empowers the Church for faithful living and gospel witness.
  • The Church exists to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ.
  • Jesus Christ will return to make all things new.

If someone asks, "What is Gathering Point Church all about?", the answer should be immediate and unmistakable: Jesus is the point. Everything we do flows from that one conviction.
