About the Lead Pastor
Scott and Sarah love Jesus, love people, and count it a privilege to serve Gathering Point Church. Their heart is simple: to help people know Jesus, grow in their faith, and live out the gospel in everyday life. They believe the local church should be a place where people are welcomed, God's Word is taught faithfully, authentic relationships are built, and lives are continually being transformed by the grace of God.
Scott serves as the Lead Pastor and is passionate about preaching the Bible in a way that is clear, practical, and centered on Christ. His desire is to help people understand God's Word, grow as disciples, and see that following Jesus changes every part of life. Sarah has a heart for people and loves creating a church where others feel seen, cared for, and welcomed. Together, they are committed to building a church that points people to Jesus and reflects His love in both truth and grace.
When they're not serving at church, they enjoy spending time together as a family, making memories with their daughter, traveling, and investing in the relationships God has placed in their lives. Their prayer is that Gathering Point would always be a church where Jesus is the point, people are loved well, and everyone is encouraged to take their next step with Christ.
